Neelam Upadhyaya started her career by walking the ramp for Mtv’s show Style Check. After that, in 2010, she acted in the movie Seivathu Sariye but the movie could not be released due to some reasons. She made her acting debut in 2012 with the Telugu film Mr. 7 which did not perform well at the box office and received mixed reviews. She appeared in the Telugu film Action 3D in 2013.
She also appeared in two Tamil movies Unnodu Oru Naal and Om Shanti Om in which she got recognition. She acted in the Telugu movies Pandagala Vachadu and Tamasha in 2018.
