Wamiqa Gabbi is an Indian actress who mainly works in Punjabi and Hindi films. She started her acting career with the Hindi film ‘Jab We Met’ in which she played the role of Kareena Kapoor’s cousin. In 2013, she made her debut in Punjabi cinema with the film ‘Tu Mera 22 Main Tere 22‘. She rose to fame in 2017 with Kulwinder Billa’s song ‘Angrezi Wali Madam’ in which she gave a brilliant performance.

Wamiqa Gabbi started her acting career in 2007 at the age of 13 with Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Jab We Met’ in which she played the role of Kareena Kapoor’s cousin. After this, she worked in supporting roles in films like ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Bittoo Boss’. She first appeared in a lead role in the 2013 film ‘Sixteen’ in which she played the role of a teenager named Tanisha.
After this, in 2013, she debuted in Punjabi cinema with the comedy film ‘Tu Mera 22 Main Tere 22’ with Amrinder Gill and Yo Yo Honey Singh, which was a box office success. After this, she appeared in many Punjabi films like Ishq Brandy (2014), Ishq Haazir Hai (2015), Nikka Zaidar 2 (2017), Dil Diyan Gallan (2019) and Kali Jotta (2023).
