She won the title of ‘Miss India Oman’ in 1997 at the age of 15. After that she won the title of ‘Femina Miss World’ in 2007 and represented India at ‘Miss World 2007’. She won a talent hunt TV show, she then became the host of a supermodel hunt TV show ‘Get Gorgeous’ on the network.
In 2010 she started her acting career with the Tamil film ‘Theeradha Vailaiyattu Pillai’. In 2011 she made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Game’ in which she acted opposite Abhishek Bachchan. She then made her Telugu cinema debut with the film ‘Panjaa’.
