Kashish Methwani is a former model and Indian Army officer who joined the Indian Army after winning a beauty pageant. She is from a Sindhi family in Ulhasnagar, Mumbai. She was crowned ‘Miss International India‘ in 2023.

She received her early education at Army Public School, Ghorpadi. She received a master’s degree in biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, after which she conducted research in neuroscience at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
From a young age, she has been a Bharatanatyam dancer, tabla player, national-level pistol shooter, and debater. In January 2021, she participated in the Republic Day parade as part of the NCC and was awarded the All India Best Cadet Trophy by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She passed the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam in 2024, achieving All India Rank 2.

Kashish Methwani Career
She began her modeling career at a very young age. She participated in a local pageant called ‘Summer Princess’ at the age of 7. In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, at the age of 19, she founded an NGO called Critical Cause, which works to promote awareness and action for plasma, blood, and organ donation.
She participated in several beauty pageants. In 2023, she was crowned Miss International India.
In 2025, she joined the Indian Army as a commissioned officer. After approximately 11 months of rigorous training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, she was commissioned into the Indian Army as a Lieutenant in the Army Air Defence branch on 6 September 2025.
