Shadman Islam is a Bangladeshi international cricketer who is a left-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox bowler. He has played domestic cricket for Chittagong Vikings, Abahani Limited, Central Zone and Shinepukur Cricket Club. He made his domestic debut in the 2017–2018 Bangladesh Cricket League.
In 2017, shadman Islam scored his first List A century playing for Abahani Limited Club in the 2016–2017 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. He made his international debut in a Test match against West Indies on 30 November 2018. He have played 15 Test matches by 2024.

Shadman Islam plays for several teams in domestic cricket including Chittagong Vikings, Abahani Limited, Central Zone and Shinepukur Cricket Club. He was selected as a member of the Bangladesh Under-19 squad and performed well in the 2014 Under-19 World Cup, scoring 406 runs at an average of 101.50.
Shadman Islam made his domestic cricket debut for Bangladesh Cricket League in the 2017-2018. In May 2017, he played for Abahani Limited in the 2016-2017 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League and scored his first List A century. He was the leading run-scorer with 500 runs in 6 matches for Central Zone in the 2017 – 2018 Bangladesh Cricket League.

In July 2021, he scored an unbeaten 115 against Zimbabwe at the Bond University Stadium in Brisbane and scored his first century. He played 15 Tests till 2024 in which he performed brilliantly by scoring 695 runs.
