Priya Saroj is an Indian politician and Lawyer. She was elected to the Machhlishahr Lok Sabha seat from the Samajwadi Party in 2024. She is one of the second youngest leaders in the country.
She is the daughter of three-time MP (1999, 2004, 2009) and current MLA Toofani Saroj. She got engaged to Indian cricketer Rinku Singh on June 8, 2025.

She grew up in a political family. Her father’s name is Toofani Saroj who has been a member of Parliament three times from Machhlishahr Lok Sabha seat. He won the Lok Sabha seat in 1999, 2004 and 2009. After this, his daughter represented the Machhlishahr seat and won.
On June 8, 2025, she got engaged to Indian cricketer Rinku Singh. At the time, the news of their engagement became a major topic of discussion. However, her father initially denied the news. But later, Priya’s father confirmed that Priya and Rinku were going to get married.

Priya Saroj Career
Priya won the Machhlishahr Lok Sabha election in 2024. She was elected to Parliament in the Indian general elections from Machhlishahr on a Samajwadi Party ticket. She defeated BJP candidate Bhola Nath by 35,850 votes and became one of the second youngest MPs in the country.
