Sana Makbul is an Indian actress and model who works mainly in Hindi television. She made her television debut in 2010 with the role of Sara in the serial Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De, but she gained recognition for her roles as Lavanya Kashyap in StarPlus’ serial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Dr. Aliya Kothari in Colors TV’s serial Vish.
She made her Telugu cinema debut in 2014 with the film Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya. She also appeared in Mama O Chandamama (Telugu) and Rangoon (Tamil). In 2021, she participated as a contestant in the stunt show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, in which she reached the semi-finals.
She was a contestant of the famous reality show Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, of which she also became the winner. Apart from this, she also appeared in many music videos like Khegi Kya?, Ek Tu Hi Toh Hai, Kaala Maal and Saadhni.

Sana Makbul grew up in a middle class Muslim family. Her father’s name is Maqbool Khan who is from Mumbai and her mother is a Malayali from Kerala. She has an elder sister Shafa Naeem Khan who is a businessman.
