Richa Ghosh is an international women cricketer who is a right-handed batsman, right-arm medium bowler. She made her international debut for the Indian team in 2020 at the age of 16. Later in the same month in February 2020, she made her debut for India against Australia in the final of the Tri-Nation Series.
In domestic cricket, she plays for the West Bengal Women’s team. And in WPL, she represents the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women’s team.

Richa Ghosh Domestic Career
Richa Ghosh plays domestic cricket for Bengal. She joined the cricket academy at the age of 12. She was selected for the Bengal Under-19 team and at the age of 13 she represented Bengal Under-23 team which is a testament to her exceptional abilities. She made her international debut for Bengal in the 2017–2018 season. Her impressive performance earned her the 2018 Bengal Cricketer of the Year award.

Richa Ghosh was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2023 Women’s Premier League auction for for ₹1.90 crore. She was selected in India’s squad for the series against Australia in December 2023 and made her women’s Test debut for India on 21 December 2023, scoring 52 runs in the first innings and 13 runs in the second innings.

After performing well in domestic cricket, Richa Ghosh was named in the India WT20I World Cup squad for the 2020 Women’s Tri-Series. She made her international debut in a WT20I match against Australia in February 2020 in the final of the Tri-Series. The same year, she was selected for the Indian women’s T20 World Cup 2020 squad against New Zealand in which she performed brilliantly.
At the age of 16, she is one of the youngest players to represent India in a World Cup. In September 2021, she made her WODI debut for India against Australia at Mackey. In 2024, she was selected in India’s squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup.
