Hasin Jahan is an Indian actress and former model, also known as the ex-wife of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami. She began a modeling career in Kolkata. She has also appeared in the Bengali film “Sorry” and the Hindi film “Fatwa” (2018). She was also a cheerleader for “Kolkata Knight Riders”.
She married Sheikh Saifuddin in 2002, with whom she has two daughters. After divorcing Saifuddin in 2010, she met cricketer Mohammed Shami during IPL 5 in 2012 and they married in 2014. In 2018, she made headlines when she accused Mohammed Shami of domestic violence and extramarital affairs, after which they separated.

Hasin Jahan and Mohammed Shami’s divorce controversy
They filed for divorce in 2018, four years after their marriage. Mohammed Shami attracted media attention when Hasin Jahan accused him of mental and domestic violence. She also accused him of having extramarital affairs and match fixing.
In 2023, the Kolkata High Court ordered Mohammed Shami to pay alimony of ₹1.30 lakh per month to Hasin Jahan, of which ₹50,000 was for personal maintenance and ₹80,000 was for the maintenance of their daughter.
In July 2025, the Kolkata High Court ordered Mohammad Shami to pay Rs 4 lakh per month as maintenance allowance to Hasin Jahan, which includes Rs 1.50 thousand for personal maintenance of his wife and Rs 2.50 thousand for the maintenance of his daughter.

Hasin Jahan started her career as a model in Kolkata. She worked with some of the famous fashion designers of Kolkata and walked the ramp in various fashion weeks. She was seen as a cheerleader for the 2012 Sharrukh Khan IPL team (Kolkata Knight Riders).
