Harleen Deol is an Indian international cricketer who is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-spin batsman. She plays for Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket and represents Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). She made her One Day International (ODI) debut against England on 22 February 2019 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
She then made her T20 debut against England on 4 March 2019. She became famous for taking a brilliant catch by lobbing the ball across the boundary rope against England in the T20 series on 10 July 2021.

Harleen Deol grew up in Patiala, Punjab. Her father’s name is Baghel Singh Deol who is a government employee and her mother’s name is Charanjit Kaur Deol. She has a brother Manjot Singh who is a doctor.
When she was 13 years old, her father was transferred to Himachal Pradesh. There she saw the Cricket Girls Academy and got herself admitted in it.

Harleen Deol Career
She started playing cricket at the age of 13 by joining Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association. She played her first match for the Chandigarh team against Mohali. Seeing her excellent performance, she was selected in the Punjab team and later got selected for the Indian team. She made her debut for the Himachal Pradesh team in 2013. After this, she represented North Zone in Under-19 cricket. She is the second woman cricketer from Chandigarh to play for India after Tanya Bhatia.

Harleen Deol WPL Career
She was bought by Gujarat Giants team for 40 lakh rupees in the IPL auction in 2023. Her performance in WPL was excellent. She was the 13th batsman to score more than 200 runs in the four-week tournament. He scored 202 runs at a strike rate of 125.46

Harleen Deol International Career
She made her Women’s ODI debut for India against England on 22 February at Wankhede, Mumbai. On 4 March 2019, she made her Women’s T20 debut against England. In which she scored 100 runs along with Smriti Mandhana. In January 2020, she was selected in India’s squad for the 2022 Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
On 10 July 2021, in the T20 series against England, she caught a catch by flying in the air on the boundary and surprised everyone. The video of her brilliant catch also went viral on social media. She received praise from Sachin Tendulkar and Narendra Modi for this catch. In July 2022, she was selected in India’s squad for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
