Bhumi Pednekar is a famous Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi films. She initially worked as an assistant director for Yash Raj Banners. She started her acting career in 2015 with the film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. For which she also received many awards like Filmfare and Screen Awards for Best Debut Actor Female.

Bhumi Pednekar started her acting career with Yash Raj Films’ Dum Laga Ke Haisha in which she worked with Ayushmann Khurrana for which she also received many awards like Filmfare for Best Debut Actress. She gained about 25 kg weight for this film and lost about 27 kg after the release of the film. After this she appeared in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017) and Bala (2018).
In 2019, she appeared in the film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ with Taapsee Pannu in which she played the role of Chandro Dadi and she also won the Filmfare Critic’s Award for Best Actress.
