She started her career in 2010 with the TV reality show Dance India Dance Li’l Maters. She started her acting career in 2011 with the TV serial Meri Maa. Avneet Kaur started her career in 2010 as a contestant in Dance India Dance Li’l Maters from which she was eliminated before the semi-finals. She participated in Dance Ke Superstars in 2011. She started her acting career in 2012 with the role of Jhilmil in Life OK’s serial Meri Maa.
She then paired up with Darsheel Safary in Colors TV’s reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She was the youngest contestant of the show. She then appeared in many TV serials such as Savitri – Ek Prem Kahani (2013), Ek Mutthi Aasman (2013), Chandra Nandini (2017) and Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga (2018).
She made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with Pradeep Sarkar’s film Mardaani in which she played the role of Rani Mukerji’s niece Meera.
