Aditya Rawal is an Indian actor and writer who works in Hindi films. He is known as the son of renowned Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal. He began his acting career as a child artist in the 2012 film ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’. He gained popularity with his lead role opposite Shalini Pandey in the 2020 film ‘Bamfaad’ and received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for the film ‘Faraaz’ (2022).
He has also worked in the web series ‘Teerandaz’ (2022) and ‘Bambai Meri Jaan’ (2023). As a writer, he has worked on several films, including ‘Panipat’ (2019) and ‘Dear Father’ (2023). He will next be seen in the Bhumi Pednekar-starrer web series ‘Daldal’ in 2026.

His father is the famous Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal, and his mother is former Miss India Swaroop Sampat. He received his early education at Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai, after which he completed his graduation from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai. He was also the captain of his college football team.
He enrolled in a playwriting program at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. He also studied theatre at the London International School of Performing Arts. As a child, he wanted to be a sportsman, and despite growing up in an artistic environment, he never thought about becoming an actor. Aditya Rawal Career
Aditya Rawal began his career in 2012 as a child artist in the film ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’. Following this, he played a supporting role in his father’s film ‘OMG – Oh My God!’. In 2017, Aditya started working as a writer on the short film ‘The Mailbox’, in which he also acted. In 2019, he wrote for Ashutosh Gowariker’s film ‘Panipat’ and in 2023 for his father’s film ‘Dear Father’.
In 2020, he starred opposite Shalini Pandey in the romantic action film ‘Bamfaad’, directed by Ranjan Chandel, where he played the lead role of a Muslim teenager, Nasir Jamal. His performance in the film was widely praised.

In 2022, he made his web series debut with ‘Teerandaz’, in which he played the role of Sarju. After this, he played the role of Nibras, a college student, alongside Zahan Kapoor in the film ‘Faraaz’, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
