Abrar Ahmed is a Pakistani cricketer who is a right-handed batsman and leg-spin bowler. He was selected in the Pakistani national team in December 2022 against England.
On 9 December 2022, he played his second Test match against England in Multan. In which he took 7 wickets and scored 114 runs in the first innings and in the second innings he took 4 wickets and scored 120 runs. He performed brilliantly by taking 11 wickets in his first Test match and drew people’s attention towards him.

Abrar Ahmed Domestic Career
On 10 February 2017, he made his T20 debut for Karachi Kings in the 2017 Super League. But he has got a chance to play only 17 matches so far. After this, he made his first-class debut for Sindh in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 20 November 2020. In 2021, he was selected in the Pakistan Shaheen team against Sri Lanka.
He made his List A debut in the 2021 match played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan shaheens. In the 2023 Pakistan Super League, he was selected by Islamabad United. In 2024, he was traded to Quetta Gladiators before the Pakistan Super League.
Abrar Ahmed International Career
In December 2022 Abrar Ahmed made his debut for Pakistan against England in Multan. He became the first Pakistani bowler to take 5 wickets in a Test match in his debut season. He took 7 wickets in his first innings and scored 114 runs and in his second innings he took 4 wickets and scored 120 runs. He became the 13th Pakistani bowler to take 5 wickets on Test debut.
He then played for Pakistan in a Test series against New Zealand in which he took 5 wickets in the first innings. In 2024 he was selected in Pakistan’s squad for the 2024 ICC Men’s World Cup tournament.
On 26 December 2024, he made his ODI debut for Zimbabwe. He made his T20I Against New Zealand 21 April 2024.
