She gained recognition for her role as Mukta Rathore in the colors’s television show Uttaran, which is one of the longest-running shows on television.
She also gained popularity for her role as Dilruba in Star Plus’ super thriller Nazar and appeared as a contestant on the Colors’s Famous reality show Bigg Boss season 16. She will be seen in Star Bharat’s show Shaitaani Rasmein as Chaaya Daayan in 2024.

Born in Bengal, Sreejita De‘s father’s name is Swapan Kumar De and mother’s name is Lipi De. She is the only child of her parents. Her father was doubtful for Sreejita to pursue an acting career but after seeing her achievements, he was happy about her decision.

Sreejita De made her television debut in 2007 with the role of Gargi Tushar Bajaj in Star plus’ show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. In 2008, she appeared in the role of Parvati in the Bollywood film Tashan. She then worked in serials like Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah and Mile Jab Hum Tum but gained recognition in 2012 with the role of Mukta Rathore in Colors TV’s show Uttaran.
She appeared in Zee TV’s show Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi as Shreya Pethewala, Piya Rangrezz as Aradhya Shamsher Singh in 2016 and Star Plus’ show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai as Kavya.
