Shannon K is an American pop singer, songwriter and actress who works primarily in the American music industry. She is also known for being the daughter of Bollywood famous singer Kumar Sanu. She started her singing career in 2018 with the song “A Long Time” with Poo Bear. She released the love song “OMT” in 2018 in collaboration with Indian famous singer Sonu Nigam.
Shannon K made her acting debut in 2020 with the film “The Big Feed” opposite Manolo Vergara. She was selected to perform at Coachella 2025 and she became the first Indian-origin artist to perform there. She has also appeared on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.

Shannon K made her American singing debut in 2018 with her single ‘A Long Time’ with renowned singer-songwriter ‘Poo Bear’. The song became a huge success on YouTube and earned her nominations for one of the most prestigious music awards in the American music industry. She then made a collaboration video with famous Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam which was the love song “OMT” which was released in November 2018.
She co-wrote the song “Give Me Your Hand” with her sister in support of the anti-bullying charity Love Is Louder. The song was very close to her as she was once a victim of bullying.
