Shazahn Padamsee is an Indian actress who works in Hindi and Telugu films. She is the daughter of famous actor Alyque Padamsee and Sharon Prabhakar. She made her Bollywood debut in 2009 with the film Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year opposite Ranbir Kapoor. After this, she appeared in Tamil and Telugu films where her acting was appreciated.
In 2011, she appeared in the lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. Shazahn Padamsee initially did stage performances including her father’s play Unspoken Dialogues, after which she appeared in several national commercials. She made her Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films’ Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, in which she played the role of Sherena Khanna opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film received positive reviews but was a commercial failure at the box office due to lack of promotion.
Shazahn Padamsee then had two simultaneous releases in 2010, playing the role of Anu in the Tamil film Kanimozhi, which received mixed reviews. Her performance in her second release, the Telugu film Orange, was praised and the film received more positive reviews.
