Manish Pandey is an Indian international cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium bowler. He plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket and represents Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) In 2009, he became the first player to score a century in the Indian Premier League (IPL), scoring 114 runs in 73 balls. He was a member of the Indian team that won the 2018 Asia Cup.

Manish Pandey Domestic Career

Manish Pandey plays domestic cricket for Karnataka. He performed brilliantly in the 2009–2010 Ranji Trophy, scoring 882 runs and becoming the highest batsman with 4 centuries and 50 runs at an average of 63 runs rate. In 2021, he was selected as the captain of Karnataka Team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He captains the Karnataka team in Domestic tournament.

Manish Pandey played for Mumbai Indians in the 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL). He was bought by Mumbai Indians in the IPL auction at a base price of US$30,000. He then played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2009 IPL and became the first Indian to score a century in the IPL. In 2014, he was selected for Kotak Knight Riders where he scored a match-winning 94 against Kings XI Punjab and was awarded the Man of the Match.

In 2018, he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for $1.35 million for the season, making him the highest-paid player of the season and he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad until 2021. In the 2022 IPL auction, he was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for ₹4.5 crore and in 2023, he was bought by Delhi Capitals for ₹2.4 crore. He was bought by Kotak Knight Riders for 50 lakhs in the 2024 IPL auction.

ODI Match:- Manish Pandey made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe on 14 July 2015. In which he played a brilliant innings of 71 runs. In the 2016 final series, he led Team India to victory by scoring 104 runs against Australia and was awarded Man of the Match. In his ODI matches, he played a total of 29 matches in which he scored 566 runs in 625 balls at an average rate of 33.9 and his high score is 104.

T-20 Mach:- He made his T20 Cricket debut against Zimbabwe on 17 July 2015. He played 290 matches in T20 cricket in which he scored 6676 runs by batting in 266 innings and remained not out 59 times and scored 38 half-centuries, 3 centuries, 209 sixes and 554 chokes.
