Harman Singha began his career as a cadet in the Merchant Navy; after working for nearly three years, he quit the job and decided to switch careers. He moved to Mumbai with the aim of building a career in the entertainment industry. Initially, he started working as an assistant to film directors. Additionally, he assisted the director of the competitive cooking reality show ‘MasterChef India’.
In August 2008, he joined the Mumbai-based film, television, and web series production house ‘Colosium Media Private Limited’ as an Associate Creative Director, a position he held until October 2011.
