Anand Piramal is a businessman who heads Piramal Realty. He is the son of famous businessman Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal. He founded the rurul healthcare initiative Piramal e-Health in 2008. He returned to India in 2011 and became the executive director of the ‘Piramal Group’.
He is also the youngest president of the Youth Wing at Indian Merchant Chamber’s branch. He is known for being the husband of famous businessman Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani.

Anand Piramal Career
Anand Piramal founded Piramal e-Health in 2008, which was integrated into Piramal Health Services in 2011 with the aim of democratizing healthcare. In 2010, Mukesh Ambani (Chairman & Managing Director of Reliance Industries) advised him to become a businessman.
He returned to India in 2011 and joined his family business ‘Piramal Group’ as an Executive Director. He also manages Piramal Group’s unit ‘Piramal Realty’ which develops commercial and residential projects in prime areas of Mumbai.
Anand Piramal raised $434 million from investment banking firm Goldman Sachs and a private equity firm Warburg Pincus in 2015 to grow the Piramal Group, which is considered the largest private investment in real estate in India. He played a key role in acquiring prime land parcels in Mumbai and building a team for various projects.
